As part of “Afloat: An Ohio River Way of Life” and The Art of Drifting, a watercolor art exhibition now on view at Louisville’s Frazier Kentucky History Museum, I’ll be doing a panel discussion on the Great Flood of 1937—an epic disaster with connections to my own family history and my novel-in-progress. Other panelists will include the historian, Tom Owen, and 30-year veteran of the Army Corps of Engineers, Chuck Parrish. Join us!
